Halloween at Great Eastern Mall

I don’t celebrate Halloween, but I really love the pumpkin makeover…..Hehehehe….I went to Great Eastern Mall expecting something great for the weekend. Well what do you know, there is a Halloween Celebration happening now until 1 November 2009. The concourse area is transformed into eerie stalls selling skeletons, ghoulish costumes, cobweb, Jack-o’-Lantern, cute little pumpkins, ‘Trick-or-Treat’ bags and other spooky stuffs. Check out the pictures below:Jack O’ LanternTransformed concourse areaThere is also a Museum of Horrors situated in the middle of the concourse and the entrance is FREE!!!..But try it only if you are really brave, coz from the sound of it, it seems very spooky (we did not enter coz my son was scared—erkk) ….anyway, give it a try if you happen to be in Great Eastern Mall this month.Awek cun jaga Museum of HorrorsI don’t know much about Halloween, but here’s a little something about it taken from When-is.com.“The holiday of Halloween originated under the name of Sam…

Häagen Dazs spotlight on ::Royal Monte Carlo::

Have you had Royal Monte Carlo in Häagen Dazs?….Well, this is my first time dining (chewah dining) in Häagen Dazs KLCC. I did not know what to have so I just ordered Royal Monte Carlo; RM25.90 per glass.Looks tempting right? It's chocolate and coffee ice cream, whipped cream and crunchy almond nibs layered in a glass topped with indulgent chocolate sauce and bits of peanuts. The most bottom part of the glass is filled with crispy waffle chips. It’s delicious!…but strictly for chocolate fans only coz when the ice cream melts, the last bit is purely whipped cream + chocolate sauce mixture. I personally think its fantastic (coz I’m a chocolate lover!) and I love the crispy waffles, but the waffles are too little for me. Maybe I should choose another ice cream with lotsa waffles for my next trip there.Until next time XOXO.

Car plunged into KTM commuter tracks in Batu Tiga

While I was seriously watching ‘The Taking of Pelham 123’ on my phone, suddenly the Commuter train stopped and moved backwards. A bit annoyed about that because I will be late (again) to work. So I just kept calm and continued watching the movie. Thank god I have something to dwell on while waiting for the train to move forward.Apparently the train did not stop and just kept on moving backwards, and then it stopped. We waited for almost 30 minutes when another train heading Port Klang passed by. That means these trains can only use one track at a time. As we were on the way to Batu Tiga station, we saw these:Car plungedNearer view of the plunged carNotice the man sitting down wearing the red shirt. He’s probably the driver and he’s lucky that he only had minor injuries. The funny thing is, as I paused my movie, I took a picture of the scene and then I heard people said ’Lets take pictures too’…… So almost everyone took out their phones to capture this moment. Then I said ‘This is a pr…

~~A Kinokuniya Sunday~~

If you are a Japanese book/magazine/stationeries lover, head down to Kinokuniya KLCC for a stupendous, informative ride (on Japanese reading materials, that is)…..My hubby and I memang giler kan Japanese magazines…even though we do not understand, Japanese magazines show a lot of pictures and they are very detail. As for the language…..well, I know a bit here and there but it’s fading away sebab tak practise….anyway, follow me to Kino? (my son panggil Kino)….Kinokuniya KLCCWhen you enter the book store, straight away turn right for a dose of Japanese stationeries, stickers, cards and weird cute stuffs. Normally I would spend like 30 minutes there…….. just to look at them (tak beli pun, kadang2 jer beli…). I really love the colourful and cute stuffs that they offer. Also, if you are a fan of Momiji, sini pun ada collection nya tapi tak banyak la……Some of the cute colourful stationeries for saleLepas dah puas kat situ, we will go to the next area; yes, the children’s area. Although their …

Tulip berintikan peanut butter

This is the most exquisite ‘kuih raya’ that I have ever had. It is a tulip shaped crust with peanut butter topped with a tiny cherry inside. It ‘melts in your mouth’ kinda kuih. Look…..It is not for sale because my mom just suddenly bought it from our relative who did not want to sell or make these. Apparently, it is imperative to have the patience, skills and steady hands to make one piece of this marvelous kuih.I am so lucky to have the opportunity to eat it as it is so difficult to find this tulips in the market. According to my mom, the seller must wear make up before she can make these beautiful kuih…. (macam orang buat tapai cannot have their period…something like that lah..)….Now, my mom and I are trying to coax the seller to make some more. Nakkkk!!!!!….

Makan at Rumah Stroberi

Lets go Rumah Stroberi!!! he exclaimed….mesti pergi, mesti pergi. My brother, who had his dinner once here, insisted us to go before we left for home. The journey was all the way ‘machet’ (traffic jam). Seriously, the place is on high terrace and we had to drive up for 40 minutes with an empty stomach!!!….sampai my son muntah2 sebab pening naik bukit…. But, the food here is super delicious!!!…(maybe because we’re hungry??)…….Lets check out the place first… Front view of the restaurantEven though there were a lot of people, we managed to grab a place and then ordered. The menu there is strictly ‘Nasi Liwet’ (steamed rice cooked in small pot with a bit of herbs and 'daun salam'-which makes it smells nice). You would have to order the corresponding lauk to enjoy the rice. It could be fish or chicken depending on your appetite. The picture below is the Deep fried fish which we ordered.Guramek IkanNote the small silver pot behind the fish. That’s the ‘Nasi Liwet’ pot and the pictur…

Weekend at Gymboree

'Weekend', the period of time between Friday night to Sunday evening....yes, that's the time that we all have for our family and friends, either to catch up or just for leisure. For me, my weekends selalu kena ada visit to Tropicana City Mall.

Picture from Tropicana City Mall's url

Why? sebab that is the time my son dapat main puas-puas kat Gymboree. We all enrolled him since he was 14 months lagi sampai la sekarang. We started off with the one in Bangsar Village I but currently it becomes congested so for a peace of mind, we transferred to here. Setakat ni Alhamdulillah ok.

As we can see in this picture, he is just enjoying his time here....

Cakkk!!

Tengok apa tu??...

Most favourite session is the bubble session...kids go crazy when they see lots of bubbles in the air... Bubble time

And then they have parachute session...this is to test the child's confidence....she/he should not be scared when going on or under the parachute coz the adults will always be there for them..…
